The Hongkong Sessions I – The City

published 01. Feb. 2016 | categories asia- hongkong- photography

Hong Kong leaves an ambivalent feeling. Originally intended as to obtain entry into the Chinese way of life, I will be disappointed as all prejudices seem to agree.

The city is bigger, bulkier and more gorgeous than any other have learned so far big cities. This mass of people, these huge walls of steel, concrete and glass crush you. At the same time this city is your artificial light so light-polluted city like no other that I know of.

But most surprised me the social indifference. The Generation Head Down is very strong here. Estimated eighty percent of Metro riders staring at her screen.
